"Sababisha" is a Swahili term which Translates to "To Cause" This song is off Mbithi's album, Season ya Maembe. The client wanted a music video that celebrates his childhood and Kamba background. We needed to accurately model the environment and characters to reflect the brief. while maintaining a fun color palette.
The client was very specific about featuring this particular car in the video, as it held significant sentimental value for him. He shared several photos and a video walkthrough of the car.
To accurately model the car, we first located its blueprints online, then utilized the client's photos to incorporate unique details, as well as any signs of wear and tear.
We aimed to accurately model the environment and characters in alignment with the brief. Despite being a party love song, we dedicated effort to crafting profound and meaningful visuals that resonate with Mbithi's clever lyrics.
Since the story is set in the 80s, we designed the characters to embody the style of that era. This was the original design, but we made a few adjustments to achieve the final look.
